Ag Tech
Ag Technology is a New Zealand-based agricultural business specialising in the research, development, and validation of agricultural machinery.
We have worked with leading European-based manufacturers for nearly 30 years, often operating in the USA and Europe. Recently, we have begun collaborating with Chinese agricultural businesses seeking to enter markets outside of China.
In 2024, an opportunity arose to form a partnership with Shandong Leader Machinery Company in Weifang for the sale and distribution of their Leader Inline conventional calers. A signed contract for global sales and distribution is now in place.
Leader Machinery Company
The Leader Machinery Company are currently producing tractors, haymowers, rakes, round balers and conventional balers. Producing the Leader inline conventional baler since 2019 with over 3000 units manufactured and sold in China, Mongolia and South America. Balers have been updated and improved each year following feedback from end users and are now ready for Global sales.
The Ag Technology team has visited the factory three times within a six-month period in 2024 to observe production processes and quality, as well as the in-field performance of the Leader baler. Some improvements have now been implemented regarding specifications and quality. The sale and distribution of their Leader Inline conventional calers, with a signed contract for global sales and distribution, is now in place.
